Intro
Writing and structuring this website has been quite a challenge for me because I always struggled to define myself through beliefs, qualities and virtues. So how am I going to sum up who I am on a screen? Am I giving myself titles and that's it? Am I then restricted to what I called myself? Over the years I came to the conclusion that most of us simply want to understand themselves and others by pinpointing and categorizing. We love things (and us) to work and act as expected by others and ourselves. How else could we fit in a system? I have been asking myself these questions since ages. I still do.
Back to the website - I have a Master's Degree of Arts, worked in different fields and gone through transformations until I got a sense of what I can finally name without questioning its meaning [from the societal viewpoint]. I am a multi-disciplinary artist, singer and occasionally scientist with a ridiculous passion for shinyness, lights and patterns to an extent that led me to grow opals and crystals in my home lab. My invention of "Schallgrützen" (lit. transl. "sonic grits") involves organic structures formed through sonic vibrations. I do macro photography, I compose music and make music videos that merge all these elements.
I swim in chaos to create structure, decorating the exterior of my house with beautiful ornaments of what I have achieved. All of that is a compensation for what I am not, but long to be. A safe house without boundaries. That place I found in chanting to expansive sounds. My focus is on creating atmospheric auditory ambiences, a place where we can go together into the depths of sounds and expressions.
I leverage my singing voices for and do audiovisual art while advocating for the design of places and spaces that promote the diversity of cognitive styles.
